Join us for an evening of mystery, tea, and--dare we say--murder!

Colonel Shanders invites one and all to a gala event at his Lexington plantation to celebrate the inaugural running of The Flank Stakes, a race for 2-year-old thoroughbreds to be held at The Upsin Downs. Gather with the Colonel's family, friends, and neighbors for this festive event over afternoon tea with a menu from "Around the World in 80 Days."

As you might predict, the evening is destined to go "afowl." We promise that you will make it home alive, but we can't promise that you won't be charged with murder!

All registrants to this event will be given an identity for the evening and are requested to present themselves in character. Characters will be emailed to each guest a few weeks prior to the event. Costumes are strongly encouraged and help make the event more fun for all!

Please note that this event is community seating, which means that you may be seated with another group. The St. James Tearoom will be following current guidelines set by the state regarding mask policies, as well as other Covid-safe mandates, which are subject to change.

*All special events are fully prepaid. Refunds will only be issued if you cancel 1 week prior to the event.

*We do not allow children under age 4. Children of ages 11 and above will receive full adult menu.
